WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY/EDITING STYLE?
My personal style is to work with natural, ambient light. I don't use external flashes or lighting sources, therefore I rely entirely on the circumstances of the day. I consider my edits to fall more on the warm/neutral side of the color spectrum, with muted greens and yellows to provide more of an artistic vintage effect. All photographers have their own unique style and are certainly not one-size-fits-all, so if you're looking for super colorful images with a dramatic blurred background, I'm probably not your gal, but if you love nostalgic, cinematic images with plenty of emotion then we're a match made in heaven!
WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOSHOP/RETOUCHING POLICY?
As a photographer editing is an integral part of the images I produce. All photos come with general re-touching, meaning I'll erase blatant acne and visible scrapes/blemishes, as well as fine tune the surrounding area by eliminating any distracting elements that I can such as debris, background people/vehicles, etc.
I strongly believe in representing people as their most authentic selves, so no, I will not make you look "skinnier, younger" or anything of the sort. You are beautiful as you are :)

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR THE PHOTOSHOOT?
Neutrals please! White and beige are my favorite to photograph, as they blend well with nature and complement skin tones beautifully. For a more contrasted look, black is a wonderful neutral option! PRETTY PLEASE DON'T WEAR BRIGHT COLORS. I'll cry, I'm so for real. If you want some color stick with natural hues: earthy greens, light blues, soft yellow or dusty orange. And lastly, if you must wear a pattern, please make it subtle :)
HOW LONG AFTER THE SHOOT CAN I EXPECT MY GALLERY?
In most cases, you'll get them sooner, but sometimes I like to have a life too, so please allow 3-4 weeks for portrait sessions and 6-8 weeks for weddings.

WHAT IF IT RAINS?
The weather of CNY is the literal bane of my existence, so I'm fully aware that mother nature can derail our plans. IF IT RAINS, and it's not a couples session where we can totally make that romantic, then yes we can absolutely reschedule! I also always keep an eye on the wind too because mighty winds are an easy way to ruin a shoot, so I can be flexible I promise.
WHAT IS YOUR POSTING POLICY?
Please don't screenshot my photos :( I know it's a hassle to download them, I get it, but these images are high quality and if you're representing my work by posting them online I ask that you respect the art form and take the time to download them to your devices and post the full quality image. Also if you want to be super cool you can tag me too, that would be so nice.

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT TO BOOK A SESSION?
Unfortunately I do get ghosted sometimes, so all portrait sessions require a $50 deposit to reserve a date and time. A 10% deposit is required for weddings. All deposits are non-refundable!
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING POLICY?
I do ask that you try your best to keep your scheduled date! However I'm not a monster and I completely understand that life happens, so in the event you absolutely need to reschedule, please reach out to me as soon as you can so we can decide on another appropriate date!
